“It’s a real privilege to introduce myself as Kent PACT’s new Manager and a fellow parent carer. I’m passionate about supporting families and making sure every parent and carer feels seen, heard, and valued. My background is in education and community work, but more importantly, I come to this role as a parent navigating the SEND world; learning, adapting and advocating for SEND families.
Becoming a parent carer has completely changed how I see the world. It’s taught me strength I didn’t know I had and shown me just how powerful parent voice can be when we come together. I know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel at times, but I also know the difference that kindness, good communication and genuine partnership can make. Through my role at Kent PACT and with your support, I hope that together we can build those connections, amplify family voices across Kent and create spaces where parents and carers feel understood, supported and empowered to make real change.”
