Meet Amy

My name is Amy, Kent PACTS’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator.

I am excited to be joining the team at the beginning of this hugely exciting journey. Everyone has been so welcoming and it’s wonderful to see that our community has grown already!

I am a Mum to four wonderful children, one of whom was diagnosed at birth with a rare genetic condition called Phenylketonuria. I have always loved children, and as well as my early career in Design and Publishing, I have also worked as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for the past five years.

Through my family and career, I have learnt first-hand of the challenges children, young people and their parents and carers may face. I know what it’s like when your path changes direction unexpectedly and you are flung into this whole new world of specialists, hospitals and diagnosis. I have been able to offer support to families using my own experiences, and I now hope to continue this within Kent PACT.
